Fire Safety Training Exam Course

It is required that you have already undertaken 40 hours of instruction on BS5839-1:2025, If you are confident your knowledge is at level 3 standard this is the exam only option without any further training.

You will have to provide evidence of certificates of training to take exam only.

• Understand the general requirements of BS 5839-1

• Understand the design considerations for fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings

• Understand the requirements in relation to the responsibility for the limitation of false alarms and unwanted fire alarm signals

• Understand requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to the installation of fire detection and fire alarm systems

• Understand the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to the commissioning and handover of fire detection and fire alarm systems

• Understand the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to the maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems

• Understand the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to the user’s responsibilities of fire detection and fire alarm systems

• Understand the information contained within the annexes of BS 5839-1
